After doing all the wire "fishing" last week, I coerced Scott Madans to come over and plug in my new Scott-Quality Products Mirblinks for me this week. These things are cool!!
Remember a few years ago when a couple other Impala SS guys were trying to convince Muth Mirrors to go into production with a turn signal mirror model for our B-bodies? They never really made any headway (my guess is not enough market to justify a big corporation tooling up for another model), but that did not deter Scott from spreading his entrepreneurial wings and giving it a shot -- without the "help" of a big corporate manufacturer, either. His invention is in production now, and they are really quite impressive. All my neighbors want them for everything from Dodge Rams and Vettes to RVs and golf carts!
You all need these! Check them out at: http://www.ihp.com/ and order up a set for your beaSSt.
I wonder what could possibly make these even cooler? Hmmmmm. We had best keep our ears open to hear what else Scott develops to further refine this neat mod (there is a small hint on his page).
Thanks, Scott, for another unique personalizing touch to my car that really goes great with the Scott Williams Blink-Blinks.

Well, guess how I spent my evening :^).
The MirBlinks arrived today via UPS. I sorta hesitated (feeling a little under the weather today), but then figured "What the hell" :^).
Scott must work in record time. It took me approx 3.5 hours to finish both mirrors (little over 2 hours for the left side, about 1.5 for the right). But, I did get them wired up and they are WAY COOL!
I'll have them (with the car of course :^) at City Diner tomorrow (well, technically TODAY)

The impala MirBlinks are incredible! The instructions are clear and easy to follow. The LED's are extremely visible from the rear of the car, yet they do not interfere with the driver's vision. If you can remove your door panels, you can install MirBlinks. It only took me a few hours to install both mirrors. This is one of the coolest safety features I've added to my favorite machine... my Impala SS.

After completing my MOMO steering wheel install Sunday morning, I proceeded to install your MirBlink kit. Nice product Scott. Instructions were good, all necessary parts were supplied. Note: One of the first things I did was compare the two harnesses and discovered they were both the same length - no left or right harness. I mention this because I had to lengthen the green lead of the right harness to reach the connector over the gas pedal. Granted, this may be because of the way I routed the right green lead, but even taking the direct route would have been a 'stretch'. No worries, spliced in a hunk of green wire and good to go. Most definitely attention getters. I love them! After a 4-5 hour install time (I take my time and do it right), and fighting with those flimsy door panels, I got it all done with no problems. Nice to see the provided circuit tester - but already have a couple of them. I wonder how many guys won't know what to do with it? Anyway, nice product Scott. Very pleased. Anxious to get with my clubmembers so they may see them and hopefully drum you up some more business. My trip to Daytona for the car show in a couple weeks should provide some good advertising for you. BTW - do you have an intention 'up your sleeve' for the red wire? Another happy camper, Doug Wood
