Our GTR and Trailer
Thank you for your interest in sponsorship of the Scott-Quality Motorsports GTR. The GTR is an awe-inspiring, street-legal vehicle that is 42" tall, 6' wide, 13' long and 2,200 pounds. The GTR resembles a Le Mans P2 race car and two vehicles have successfully competed in, and completed a 24-hour endurance race.
Our GTR, powered by a 600+ horsepower Chevy V8 engine mounted mid-chassis and connected to a Porsche transaxle is unpretentious, with its form obviously following function...this car is built for speed. The digital panel will indicate a top speed in excess of 220 MPH and a 9,000 RPM tachometer.
With huge brakes, a 685-horsepower, factory-prepared GTR just set the world record for the fastest "zero-to-100 MPH-to-zero" in 9.8 seconds for the round trip (5/1/05). The 0-60 MPH time was 2.7 seconds. The 0-100 MPH was 5.8 seconds. And, 100-0 was 3.8 seconds. (see the run) The GTR is simply one of the fastest street-legal cars in the world. The only production vehicle with a faster top speed is the McLaren F1. McLaren purchased two GTRs to be used as test-beds for the development of their Supercar.
We will attend a minimum of 12 west coast racing events and auto shows per year around Nevada and California. As well, the GTR will be driven throughout the Reno, Nevada area on a daily basis (weather and mechanical condition permitting), with frequent trips to Sacramento and The Bay Area.
